I use audiophile cables like a good cook uses seasonings. In addition to all sounding different, they also all sound better than a pair of 1m Blue Jean RCA cables I bought for giggles. Depending on the sound I'm looking for, I trot out ones from Black Cat (I second recommendation), Purist Audio Design, Kimber, Audioquest, VPI and early Monster Cable, specifically ones designed by Bruce Brisson, later of MIT Cables.

Since I am bi-wiring my speakers, that's 40m of speaker wire plus 16 connectors. My speaker wires need to be 10m long to run around the edge of the room. I say that as someone who has Blue Jean cables in his main system. Let me be the next to request that you use better cables.
